On 14 September 2025, Open Monument Day, the KOBRA cultural network invites you to Bleesern (Seegrehna, Lutherstadt Wittenberg). London-based photographic artist Chrystel Lebas is exhibiting large-format photographs taken during her Passage artist-in-residence stay in 2024 at Europe’s oldest stud farm. On the same day, Wittenberg District, in collaboration with the KOBRA cultural network, is launching the second phase of the programme “Aller.Land”. KOBRA is derived from the project title “Kontinuitäten, Brüche, Aussichten” (Continuities, Breaks, Prospects), which describes the approach of starting from the visible to understand historical developments and their effects on the present and future. The project is one of two in Saxony-Anhalt funded by the German government from 2025 to 2030.
